Frequently asked questions

For a 14-day tour, expect to pay between €8,000 and €11,000 per person, all-inclusive (international flights, accommodation, visa, insurance). This budget includes accommodation, meals, English-speaking guides and all activities. Papua is a premium destination due to its isolation and the quality of the experience on offer.

It all depends on the type of trip you choose! Our festival tours are accessible to anyone in normal physical condition. For mountain treks, a good level of fitness is required. We adapt each itinerary to your level: tell us about your abilities, and we’ll find the trip that’s right for you.

No, as long as you travel with an experienced guide. For 25 years, we’ve been organizing trips in complete safety, thanks to our knowledge of the terrain and our relationships with local communities. We avoid sensitive areas and prefer welcoming regions. None of our travelers has ever encountered a safety problem.

Comfort varies according to region and your choice. In towns, hotels are comfortable with hot water and WiFi. In villages or on treks, conditions are more basic (not always hot water, limited electricity). But the authenticity of the experience more than makes up for it! We adapt the level of comfort to your expectations.

For festival tours (fixed dates), we recommend booking 6 to 9 months in advance, as places are limited. For customized tours (flexible dates), 3 to 4 months is ideal to organize logistics and obtain the best airfares.
